1. Introduction
At JoJen (“we,” “our,” “us”), we build and deploy AI software solutions with privacy and data protection at the core of our design. We do not collect, store, or share personal information. All client systems are deployed on self-hosted, private infrastructure, geographically located to meet each client’s operational and regulatory needs.
We believe in data sovereignty, minimal data processing, and full transparency. This Privacy Policy explains our data principles and how we ensure compliance with ISO standards and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Who We Are
JoJen
AI Software Development Company
Email: info@jojen.co.uk
Website: www.jojen.co.uk
We act solely as a service provider and system developer. Clients retain full control and ownership of all data processed within their own hosted environments.
3. Data We Handle
JoJen does not collect or store:
Personal data such as names, emails, phone numbers, or payment details.
Client project data, model outputs, or user analytics.
Any data processed through our AI solutions remains entirely within the client’s infrastructure. We have no access to customer databases, API logs, or user-generated content unless explicitly granted temporary access for technical support under a written agreement.
4. Hosting and Data Sovereignty
All systems developed by JoJen are deployed on client-controlled servers or private self-hosted platforms.
We provide geographic hosting alignment — meaning data stays within the client’s chosen region to comply with local data protection laws (e.g., GDPR in the EU, UK Data Protection Act, or equivalent frameworks in other jurisdictions).
5. Data Sharing
We do not share, transfer, or sell any data to third parties.
JoJen has no third-party analytics, advertising, or cloud data pipelines connected to its systems unless a client explicitly configures them.
6. Compliance and Security Standards
We operate under strict ISO 27001 information-security principles and maintain policies consistent with GDPR requirements, including:
Privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default in every software build.
Encryption in transit and at rest for any test or temporary data.
Access controls, audit logs, and secure authentication protocols.
Regular internal reviews and vulnerability testing.
7. Client Responsibility
As all deployments are client-hosted, clients act as the data controller for their environments. JoJen provides secure, compliant software but does not dictate or access operational data policies.
We provide guidance and technical documentation to help clients remain compliant with GDPR, ISO 27001, and other relevant standards.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Since JoJen does not collect or store personal data, there are no personal records to access, amend, or delete. Any data-subject requests should be directed to the client organization operating the hosted system.
9. Updates to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect new security practices or regulatory requirements. The most current version will always be available on our website, with the effective date displayed above.
